Standing Liberty Quarters were minted from 1916 to 1930 and designed by Hermon A. MacNeil. The obverse features Liberty holding a shield in her left hand and olive branch in her right. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST and the date. The reverse of the coin features an eagle in flight. The reverse inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM and QUARTER DOLLAR.
