Peace Silver Dollars
were introduced in 1921 as the successor to the popular Morgan Silver Dollar series. The new design was created to commemorate the restoration of peace following the conclusion of World War I. Peace Silver Dollars are dated 1921 to 1935 and minted in 90% silver and contain .7734 ounces of silver. The coin was designed by Anthony de Francisci.
