US Gold $20 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle is considered by many to be the most beautiful US coin ever made. They were minted from 1907 - 1933 and survived the Gold Reserve Act of 1934 which outlawed private ownership of gold in the United States. The "No Motto" Saint Gaudens were only minted in 1907 and 1908 making them more difficult to obtain.
