Description

US Gold $2.50 Indian Head Quarter Eagle - Random Date

Certified PCGS MS61 - PCGS Green Label

US Gold $2.50 Indian Quarter Eagle
represents a departure from all precedents in United States coinage. Its design features no raised edge, and the main devices and legends are in sunken relief below the surface of the coin. They were minted from 1908 - 1929 and survived the Gold Reserve Act of 1934 which outlawed private ownership of gold in the United States.

Coin Design
Obverse: Indian Head
Reverse: Standing Eagle

Coin Artist

Obverse and Reverse: Bela Lyon Pratt (1867 - 1917)
