The reverse features Black Diamond, a 1,550 pound bison. Fraser sketched the buffalo at the Central Park Zoo, where Black Diamond was known to woo crowds every day. Inscriptions read ONE HALF TROY OUNCE and .999 FINE SILVER with the HM mint mark.
