The 2026 Silver Lunar 'Year of the Horse is the seventh of twelve animals associated with the ancient Chinese lunar calendar. The coin features a coiled Horse on the ground beneath hanging leaves. The Chinese character for "Horse" and the inscription "Horse 2026" also appear in the design with the Perth Mint "P" mintmark to one side of the coin. The obverse bears the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III with inscriptions that include the face value of the coin, weight, fineness and "CHARLES III" and "AUSTRALIA."
