Australian Lunar Series III
The 2025 Silver Lunar 'Year of the Snake is the sixth of twelve animals associated with the ancient Chinese lunar calendar. The coin features a coiled snake on the ground beneath hanging leaves. The Chinese character for "Snake" and the inscription "SNAKE 2025" also appear in the design with the Perth Mint "P" mintmark to one side of the coin. The obverse bears the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III with inscriptions that include the face value of the coin, weight, fineness and "CHARLES III" and "AUSTRALIA."
