Coin Design
The 2025 design features a koala lying on a tree branch amongst eucalyptus foliage. Inscriptions include KOALA, 2025, 1 OZ and 9999 SILVER. The Perth Mint's mint mark, "P" to one side. The obverse design features the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III and inscriptions that include the face value of the coin, CHARLES III and AUSTRALIA.
Authentication Feature
The coin's reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. It is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
