Australian Platinum Kangaroo Bullion Coin

Struck by The Perth Mint from 1 oz of 99.95% pure platinum, this coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act of 1965. Coin Design
The reverse design depicts the classic artistry of a bounding red kangaroo with textured rays of sunlight emanating outward in all directions. Inscriptions atop the artwork include AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO and below it are 2025, 1 OZ and 9995 PLATINUM. The Perth Mint's mint mark, "P", is to one side of the design. The obverse design features the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III and inscriptions that include the face value of the coin, CHARLES III and AUSTRALIA.

Authentication Feature
The coin's reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design.
