Description
2025 Canadian Silver Maple Leaf (1 oz) $5 - Five 5 Coins
Brilliant Uncirculated
Canada Silver Maple Leaf Bullion Coins were first minted in 1988 and struck every year since. The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf has a very high purity level at 99.99% fine and at 5 Canadian Dollars has the highest face value among international Silver bullion coins.
Coin Designs
The design of the Canadian Maple Leaf has undergone annual changes that include proof releases, various privy marks, holographic enhancements and commemorative variations. However, the basic features of the Maple Leaf have remained the same since 1979. Since 2022, Silver Maple Leaf bullion coins include enhanced security features: radial lines, a micro-engraved maple leaf and BULLION DNA™ Anti-Counterfeiting Technology. They also include MINTSHIELD™ surface protection: the world's first proven approach to reducing the occurrence of white spots discolorations on silver bullion coins. The small privy maple leaf is also a security feature, including the number 25 to signify the year of issue, micro-engraved into the surface. This security feature will only be visible under magnification.
Obverse: Features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati. Inscriptions include CHARLES III, 5 DOLLARS and 2025.
Reverse: Showcases the signature maple leaf so closely associated with Canadian nationalism and reflective of Canadian pride. Inscriptions include CANADA, 9999, FINE SILVER and 1 OZ ARGENT PUR.
