The Perth Mint's 125th Anniversary is a new release of bullion coins issued by the Perth Mint to celebrate it's 125th Anniversary.

Coin Design
The coin portrays a kangaroo, a koala, and a kookaburra, reflecting the Mint's best-known contemporary coin series. The animals are artistically arranged among a representation of golden wattle, Australia's national floral emblem. The inscription 1899 THE PERTH MINT 2024 appears within a scroll at the foot of the design along with 2024, 1 OZ and 9999 SILVER. The Perth Mint's mint mark, "P125" to signify The Perth Mint's 125th anniversary. The obverse design features the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III and inscriptions that include the face value of the coin, CHARLES III and AUSTRALIA.

Authentication Feature
The coin's reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. It is only detectable under a magnifying glass.
