Australian Silver Koalas are one of the most popular coins in Australia's bullion series. Australia Silver Koalas were introduced in 2007 and feature a different design each year. Struck in .9999 fine silver, the Silver Koala is a popular choice for investors and collectors alike.

Coin Design
The 2024 design features a koala on a gum tree branch. Inscriptions atop the artwork include KOALA, 2024, 1 OZ and 9999 SILVER. The Perth Mint's mint mark, "P125" to signify The Perth Mint's 125th anniversary is to one side of the design. The obverse design features the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III and inscriptions CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA and 1 DOLLAR.

Authentication Feature
The coin's reverse includes a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter within the design. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it is designed to make it more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.
