The United States Mint certifies that this coin is a genuine 2002 United States Military Academy Commemorative Uncirculated Silver Dollar, struck in accordance with legislation passed by Congress and signed by the President on September 29, 1994, as Public Law 103-328. This coin was produced by the Department of the Treasury, United States Mint to commemorate the bicentennial of the United States Military Academy.

The obverse (heads side) design of the 2002 United States Military Academy depicts a cadet color guard in parade exercise with the Military Academy's Washington Hall and Cadet Chapel in the background.
The reverse (tails) design features the West Point Bicentennial logo.
