The United States Mint certifies that this coin is a genuine 1995 Special Olympics World Games Commemorative Uncirculated Silver Dollar, struck in accordance with legislation passed by Congress and signed by the President on September 29, 1994, as Public Law 103-328, Section 204. This coin was produced by the United States Mint to help fund the 1995 Special Olympics World Games.

Coin Designs
The obverse (heads side) design of the 1995 Special Olympics features a portrait engraving of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, Founder of the Special Olympics.
The reverse (tails) design features the Special Olympics medal and rose with Eunice Shriver quote: "As we hope for the best in them, hope is reborn in us."
