The obverse of the Perth Mint gold bars feature a minted impression of a lunar dragon on a patterned background. The sinuous, heavily-scaled creature is about to grasp a flaming pearl, a symbol of wisdom. Included in the design is the inscription DRAGON and the Chinese character for dragon
The reverse of the bar features The Perth Mint's logo and inscriptions 1 OUNCE, 99.99% and PURE GOLD.

The gold bar is 999.9 Fine and will come in Sealed Assay Card.
