The obverse (front) features the images of  iconic American landmarks including the Statue of Liberty, Liberty Bell, Mount Rushmore and the U.S. Capitol dome with inscription “250 YEARS”, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “1776-2026”.
The reverse (back) depicts an eagle with wings stretched atop a pillar, one talon gripping the pillar while the other holds an American flag with a flowing banner across the pillar that reads “VIGILANCE,” with “HONOR. COURAGE. INTEGRITY. PERSEVERANCE.” inscribed around the outer rim. Above the eagle, the weight and purity “5 OUNCE .999 FINE COPPER” are struck, with the GSM logo featured in the lower right.
