The Australian Gold Kangaroo is a series of gold bullion coins issued by the Perth Mint. The Perth Mint introduced the Kangaroo gold bullion coins in 1987. The annual design changes make the Australian Kangaroo a popular choice for investors and collectors alike.

Coin Design
The 2024 design portrays a large kangaroo about to jump over a parched creek bed. The exceptional art includes a windmill and water storage tank, vital infrastructure on rural properties across the country. Inscriptions include KANGAROO, 2024, 1/10 OZ and 9999 GOLD. The Perth Mint's mint mark, "P125" to signify The Perth Mint's 125th anniversary. The obverse design features the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III and inscriptions that include the face value of the coin, CHARLES III and AUSTRALIA.
